Happy Friday, everyone! What are y’all cooking this weekend? Here’s a simple recipe I shared a few years ago for pulled pork sliders. I fried some dill pickle slices and made a quick slaw, and served with some baked beans and chips. I hope y’all have a great day!
Pulled Pork
- 4-6 lb. boneless pork butt or shoulder
- 1 tsp. Coarse restaurant-style black pepper
- 2 tbsp. Chili powder
- 2 tbsp. Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Onion powder
- 2 tsp. Kosher salt
- 1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. Chipotle Chili powder.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a small bowl, mix all the spices together. Brush the pork with olive oil and rub the spice mixture on all sides of the pork. I browned the pork in a bit of vegetable oil to form a crust on the outside. Transfer the to a dutch oven or roasting pan and cover with aluminum foil and bake for 6-7 hours or until pork is fork-tender and easily shredded.
